Veterinary Eye Specialists of Nebraska

Dr. Tonya McIlnay attended the University of Nebraska- Lincoln
and received a degree in Veterinary Science, graduated from the
Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine (1999),
completed Internships in equine medicine, surgery and field
service at Littleton Large Animal Clinic (2000) and Eye Specialists
for Animals (2001) and completed a Residency and Masters
program in comparative ophthalmology at Colorado State
University (2004).



Dr. McIlnay became a diplomate of the American College of
Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO) in 2005.

She has been published in the peer reviewed Journal of the
American Veterinary Medical Association, American Journal of
Veterinary Research, Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary
Ophthalmology.

Dr. McIlnay is a member of the American Veterinary Medical
Association, the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association, and a
board member of Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine in
Omaha. She is also a member of the American Quarter Horse
Association.



Tonya is originally from Beatrice, Nebraska.
